Old Dog

We had lots of plans today - hiking, traveling, driving through the province, hitting the Bruce trail - unfortunately, Daddy's become pretty sick and had a chiropractor's appointment, so Mommy and I hung out in the back yard and played and raked and stuff.
After lunch, Daddy got all medicated, and then we decided to try heading to the beach since the weather was so nice. We hit up the ice cream store, the toy store, and the bookstore before heading home - poor Basil hasn't been eating, is mopey and tired, and has been having a really really really hard time going up a flight of stairs or running up a hill. We've made another vet appointment for him tomorrow. We think he's just getting oooold.
When we came home, we showered the dog with affection, played some video games, Daddy had a nap, and we all watched a DVD. We all stayed up and snuggled together on the couch and watched television together, too. Daddy got a really bizarre rash and allergic reaction on is arm from resting it on the dog, though.
