Eglinton West Station

Eglinton West Station by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Daddy on July 5th]

The walk to Eglinton West station was a pretty interesting one. From Glencairn Station, we walked over to Viewmount park, where tons of people were playing baseball, having picnics, and hanging out. Daddy let me go play in a playground for a few minutes, which made me pretty happy.

From Viewmount Park, we walked south along Newgate Rd. for a few blocks, and then headed into a teeny tiny little secret walking path which ran alongside the Allen Road. The only thing separating us from the highway (on our right) was a really really large soundproof wall. To our left was a pretty posh neighbourhood with some GORGEOUS old houses.

We passed the Kay Gardener beltline trail and eventually emerged at Eglinton, and then walked over to the station. Another unexpected yet awesome turn of events on this radically different leg of our massive hiking project.

I'm a happy kid living with my parents and our dog in Toronto. I'm goofy, sweet, smart, extremely chatty, and pretty much the cutest kid on the face of the Earth!
