Cinnamon Bunny contracts Swine Flu from Bill O'Reilly

[As transcribed by Daddy]

Mommy and I were off to my dance class this morning, and for once I really seemed to enjoy it (well, I always seemed to enjoy it, I just didn't always claim to enjoy it). On the way there, we went to the subway station with Daddy, and I waved to him from the opposite platform.

Mommy got a pretty brutal headache on the way back, so I spent the better part of the day going easy on her in exchange for getting to watching way more TV than usual. I brought out a lot of my toys and played with them in the living room and stuff. I did manage to get a bike ride in during the day as well.

After Daddy came home from work, we had dinner and did some shopping at Old Navy, but only after we played Doctor on my toys - to cure my pink poodle's headache, I scooped out his eyes. Alas, it appears as though Cinnamon Bunny has contracted swine flu by kissing my pig puppet, who we've named "Bill O'Reilly" after this similar pig.

Big Girl on a Bike

[As transcribed by Daddy]

Mommy and I had a pretty quiet say today... it poured and poured with rain outside today. As a matter of fact, I awoke to the sound of rain on metal (the downed eaves outside), which led to a rousing game of "which of these materials is metal, and which is plastic?" with Daddy.

To keep busy, Mommy and I had a real-life tea party, as opposed to one of my cute little pretend tea pastries. We had almond butter on rice crackers, cinnamon apple slices, and homemade tea! Delicious.

At one point I secretly made a tent in Mommy and Daddy's room out of furniture and blankets and rolled all of my favourite stuffed animals into it with my little baby stroller. When my folks went to bed at the end of the day, they found a cute surprise!

We DID manage to get about 5 minutes of sunlight at the end of the day - I made sure to get in a quick bike ride. Mommy told me I look like such a big girl on it... I told her "Mommy, I AM a big girl!"

Chain Reaction of Misery

[As transcribed by Daddy]

After screaming at Daddy to get him out of bed this morning (which is a story unto itself), he joined Mommy and I for the walk to playschool (and headed off to work on the way). Playschool was fun - there were songs, games, and a different instructor.

Mommy and I came home and spent a good chunk of time outside - the weather was absolutely fantastic today! At one point, I set up a "toy store" on the coffee table, and I went for a really awesome bike ride, which ended in chaos as I accidentally rode off of the sidewalk, causing Mommy to catch me by dropping Basil's leash, causing him to walk onto a strange lawn, causing several dogs to bark at him, causing more dogs to bark at them, causing me to cry. A chain reaction of misery.

After Daddy staggered home after a long walk from the office, we ate a delicious dinner outside and then went over to Lisa's house to donate my dirty old 'yesterday's-news' tricycle to her son Leo, who I played with. He had a sandbox.

My First Bike!

[As transcribed by Daddy]

I did a lot of playing this morning - the clouds and rain had rolled in, leaving a big gray sky. It looked like it was gonna rain at any minute, so our plans to either go hiking or go for a bike ride (too chilly!) were dashed. To make up for it, we all went over to Swiss Chalet for lunch, and ate waaaaay too much greasy food. I enjoyed it, but my parents walked outta there feeling pretty queasy.

We decided to gather our intestinal fortitude and brave the local Wal-Mart, so that my folks could make good on yesterday's promise to buy me my first bike. I don't have to tell you how much of a zoo it was, and how it became virtually impossible to find a sales rep to get us the bike we wanted (which didn't have a seat, so we got a runner-up). Once we got home, I had a fun bike ride!

Mommy and Daddy did the grocery shopping while I visited Gammy and Grandpa... I really missed my parents, though. When they came back, we had a lovely, fancy dinner and watched some funny TV shows.

Wrap Party

[As transcribed by Daddy]

Today started with a swimming lesson. Yay! It was over quick - by the time we got home and brought breakfast in bed to Daddy, the weather had become magnificent and warm and sunny and fantastic! We cleaned off our bikes and went on a nice little jaunt around the neighbourhood - even though it was only for about fifteen minutes, it really wiped us all out (especially Daddy).

Next, we all drove over to the pub near Daddy's office so that we could attend the wrap party for his big recent commercial production. I was really well behaved and had a great time, but was pretty disappointed that there were no games, party hats, or cake. Whatever - I got to eat yam fries and made some really cool new friends!

It was pouring with rain when we left the party after a few hours. Daddy drove me to the toy store to try out new trikes and bikes - nothing really seemed to be awesome enough for me. We drove over to Ikea, and bought a lot of stuff - including a new ironing board for Mommy.

You have no idea how long she's been waiting for a new ironing board.

Pizza Withdrawl

[As transcribed by Daddy]

The weather was pretty great today - Mommy and I spent a good chunk of the morning outside. Once again I zoomed all over the place on my trike, was in a great mood, and had a delicious lunch. Afterwards, Mommy and I took a nice walk over to the drug store... and on the way home, it all fell apart when I fell and *barely* scraped my knee. It didn't stop me from really overdoing it on the pathos and misery, though. Mommy had enough after about five minutes.

When we got home, she had me lay down on her bed... after more screaming and moaning in utter agony, the two of us really passed out. We didn't wake up until Daddy came home from work in the early evening! We must've been out cold for hours!

Daddy took us out for a nice treat - a restaurant I've never been to, and it served wheat-free pasta! I must've been in pizza withdrawl - because I ate an entire grown-up-sized pizza. We had a nice walk in the Beaches, came home, watched some funny videos, did some dancing, and fought going to bed.

Finally, the Tricycle

[As transcribed by Daddy]

As soon as I got up this morning, I asked Mommy to make a lady-version of my frog toy Franklin (with pretty eyelashes) and some kid frogs and six friends for the kid frogs do that they could have a big wedding. Mommy suggested a less work-intensive arranged marriage between Franklin and a Cabbage Patch Doll, but I wasn't cool with that. We let the matter drop.

In the afternoon, Mommy asked me if I was up for a bike ride. I suggested I try my trike first, and she agreed... for the first time (in two years!) I REALLY rode that thing. For, like, blocks and blocks! Unfortunately it's WAY too small for me - but it was nice to see me finally get the hang of that thing without getting upset with it.

After a bike ride with Mommy and after Daddy came home from work, I went out for a second ride on my trike. I was moving at about a tenth of my earlier speed - but whatever, it was pretty late.

Subway Obama

[As transcribed by Daddy]

Mommy and I had a quiet morning where we both kinda vegetated on the couch watching re-runs. Whatever, we're allowed. After lunch, we decided to stop lazing about and took the subway to the museum! On the way, I saw a man who resembled Barack Obama, and I made quite the audible comparison. "He even has a brown face!" Yikes.

Once we got to the museum, I was happy to see the dinosaurs again (they're still there, still skeletal, and still don't move), but was looking all over for that little sandbox thing where I got to dig for dinosaur bones. Because I don't have a sandbox in my back yard or anything. I have to pay to go to a museum to use one. Anyway, after half an hour of searching, I played in it for 45 seconds and was onto the bat cave exhibit.

Mommy and I met up with Daddy on the way home... we had a nice subway ride home. Once we were back, Grandpa was joking around and asked me if I wanted a Rhinoceros for a pet... I had an emotional reaction to that, and told him that "Basil is the bestest pet ever and I love him and I don't want another pet." Awwww!

An Evening with Gammy

[As transcribed by Daddy]

Mommy and I had a nice, quiet morning of laundry folding and television watching (not to mention napping and snacking). All day long I looked forward to the end of the day, when Gammy was scheduled to put me to bed!

In the middle of the day, after some board games and tidying, Mommy tried to explain Earth Day (tomorrow!) to me... I was leaving the refrigerator door open and she explained how that's tantamount to throwing garbage in the sky. I don't really understand.

At the end of the day, Mommy made me a nice dinner (I ate only broccoli) and went to meet Daddy for their concert (somehow they ended up with front-row centre seats, and the band ended up "dancing" with Mommy - a story I hopefully understand and appreciate when I'm older). I watched a fun movie with Gammy, and then she tried to put me to bed... ...and I prolonged the experience for as long as possible.

Di[n]orama

[As transcribed by Daddy]

I slept in a little bit today - hence, Mommy and I kinda had to hustle in order to make it to playschool on time. Once we were there, I had a pretty good time, as usual. My teacher is awesome and the other kids are pretty fun to play with. On the way back I kinda stumbled and fell down in the rain, and tried to convince Mommy that the only thing that would make it okay was hot chocolate and a dinosaur movie. No dice. Somehow, though... I didn't flip out!

Mommy and I had a quiet afternoon cooped up inside. She read some books to me, but then drifted in and out of sleep - last week took a lot out of her. I was happy to play by myself and stuff, so no sweat.

After Daddy came home from work, we all had a nice dinner, and then I put together another fantastic di[n]orama out of all of my dinosaur toys and stuff. I'm really creative with it - my folks are so impressed with these massive "exhibits" I make in my room, with close to fifty carefully arranged pieces, elements, and bits of scenery.

Coincidental Hike

[As transcribed by Daddy]

After a nice, quiet morning of pancakes and nice weather (although not as nice as yesterday), Mommy and I did some work outside, woke Daddy up, and then headed out with him to the butcher. We listened to some new tunes (given to Daddy by the lead singer of one of his favourite bands!) and had a lovely drive!

After a great lunch, we had yet another nice drive up North, and we went for an amazing two-hour hike out at Hockley Valley... a hike almost identical to one we took almost exactly two years ago today - coincidentally, of course. Despite the rigorous hills and the long trek, I managed to stay happy and pleasant for the entire 120 minutes!

We had a long slog home through the city, a nice dinner at home, and then we all struggles to stay awake after such a busy weekend.

Splinter Crisis

[As transcribed by Daddy]

Mommy and I were having a nice, quiet morning when Daddy suddenly woke up and reminded us that we were supposed to be at my swimming lesson. We broke several laws of physics in order to get there on time.

Once we got home, Mommy got to work outside again, tilling more soil and tidying up the backyard. I got a splinter in my foot, which caused a ridiculous amount of drama - Daddy finished all of the yardwork while Mommy dealt with me. I had some lunch outside, and then it was so warm outside that I got back into my bathing suit and played in my pool!

Daddy got yet another call requesting that hecome in to work - so we quickly hustled and took a drive out to Edwards Gardens, where we had a lovely walk and frolic through the park. Next, we went to the mall where we all gorged ourselves on bubble tea and tried on clothes. We stopped for sushi appetizers on the way home, and then I fought going to sleep.

Don't Look at my Boo-Boo!

[As transcribed by Daddy]

Mommy and I made a fruit salad this morning - a nice way to start the day. The weather was so fantastic that we spent a good chunk of the day outside enjoying the heat - save for a few breaks here and there (I had a lovely lunch of rice cheese on rice bread with Gammy) we were out there for the better part of the day. Mommy tilled the back yard with a rented tiller, and I put together an outdoor carnival for my rubber ducky collection. Afterwards, I dressed up in leftover props from Daddy's commercial shoot last month.

I picked a recipe out of a magazine for Mommy to make for dinner... my folks both loved it, but I can't say I was to keen on it. Oh well. Daddy and I danced to some cool music videos and I had a bath before bed, which led to a whole new round of freakouts and drama when the bandage came off of my scraped knee and Mommy tried to replace it.

I get CRAZY when people mess with (or look at) with my injuries. Screams of "Don't look at my boo-boo!" I can be heard echoing through the house.

Ketchupy, Sugary, and Chicken Brothy

[As transcribed by Daddy]

I was up pretty early this morning, and climbed into bed with my folks and tried to persuade them to read books to me. After Daddy went to work, Mommy and I had a couple of breakfasts - one inside, and a second one outside in the wonderful warm weather! It was great!

I had a few whiny moments - perhaps due to a lack of sleep last night? Who knows. Later on in the afternoon, after Mommy decided to finish doing some yardwork instead of playing with me, I had a major meltdown and then conked out on the couch. Daddy came home from work and snuggled me - I woke up in a fantastic and sweet mood after an hour-long nap.

I came up with the idea of us having our dinner AT the supermarket while doing the weekly grocery shopping... it was fun! I ate California Rolls, was exceptionally cheerful, made friends with the groceries (I named them "Ketchupy", "Sugary", and "Chicken Brothy") and kept hugging my parents. After we came home, Daddy's feet were really sore so he had a foot bath - when I couldn't get a foot bath of my own, I had another meltdown. And went to bed without a story or songs.

Rolling & Strolling

[As transcribed by Daddy]

Mommy took me to my dance class today... you know, the one I claimed to have hated last week? Well, she listened in this time, and while I once again declared the class to be 'horrible', such a report was contrary to what Mommy heard - And what she heard was me having an awesome time.

Once we came home, the two of us had a nice day working and playing outside. In fact, Mommy tidied up her bike and set out for a ride for the first time in over a year! I happily hooted and hollered in my little rolling trailer behind her, with Cinnamon Bunny on my lap. Hopefully we can go it again!

After a fun game of Skuttleclods with Grandpa, Mommy and I met Daddy at the drug store to pick up some groceries for dinner. I was pretty wiped out afterwards... but that's because I pushed Cinnamon Bunny the whole way in his little stroller.

Headache Buddies

[As transcribed by Daddy]

Mommy woke up with a pretty awful headache, but for some reason the sound of me munching away on a bowl of cereal while she curled up in the fetal position on the couch was soothing.

She and I went to visit Julie and Sarah today - we haven't seen them in a while, so we made up for it by staying ALL DAY. It was a pretty great visit - Julie (who also had a headache, so she and Mommy were headache buddies) made me some awesome macaroni and cheese, and despite the fact that I kinda bugged Sarah and made her cry twice, we all had a lovely time.

By the time we came home, Mommy's headache magically vanished. Daddy staggered home from the office, we had more Mac & Cheese, and then we played Skuttleclods for far too short a duration. I freaked out during my bath before bed when the bandage came off of my scraped knee.

Skuttleclods

[As transcribed by Daddy]

Mommy and I went to playschool this morning while Daddy slept in on his last day off during his four-day weekend (during which he completely missed a frantic call from the office asking him to come in and work without so much as a 'please'). At Playschool, I made a cool necklace and hung out with the other kids. Nothing out of the ordinary.

As soon as Mommy and I got home, we woke Daddy up and headed out on the road with him and Basil in tow (far away from Daddy's office) and had an in-car picnic over at Eldred Woods. We had a lovely 90-minute walk, told each other stories, Daddy got kinda sick, and then we headed back.

We headed out once more to go shopping - my parents got new shoes, and I got what I mistakenly call "Skuttleclods" - a word everyone thinks is adorable, so nobody's correcting me. We played 'Skuttleclods' after dinner... we've already noticed how infrequently they fall down the backyard ravine compared to my tennis balls.

Treasure & Egg Hunt(s)

[As transcribed by Daddy]

I awoke this morning (rrreeally early in the morning) to discover that my parents had set up an Easter treasure hunt for me! An empty basket was in my room with a little cartoon of Cinnamon Bunny that I had to see with my magnifying glass. Next to him was another present with another clue - by the end I had candy, chocolate, some toys, and some new jammies (one of the clues was a cartoon of Daddy sleeping... sure enough, one of my presents was under his pillow).

We had our requisite egg hunt (actually, we had multiple egg hunts) in the morning and again in the afternoon (see photo)... in-between, Gammy joined Mommy and Daddy and I for a nice lunch out at the sushi restaurant. I spilled miso soup on myself.

I was a bit crabby and Mommy had a lot of cooking to do, so we didn't go for a hike like we planned, and just went for a little drive. Once we got home, I watched some dinosaur DVDs, and then it was time for a massive and delicious ham dinner at Gammy and Grandpa's place. Delicious! Afterwards, my parents watched television and we all passed out.

The Swimming Parasaurlophus

[As transcribed by Daddy]

Daddy woke up with a horrible pain in his neck and back - but it didn't stop him from walking over the local pool with Mommy and I so that I could have my weekly swimming lesson. It was a blast - I was really excited and happy, and aside from me screeching like a parasaurlophus into my instructor's ear and not wanting to go home, it was great!

After a quick re-charge at home, we loaded into the car and went to the butcher's to pick up some groceries. Man, there sure were a lot of crazies out on the road this morning. It must've taken a lot out of my folks, because they both fell asleep on the couch after lunch! After a photo shoot with Grandpa, I got my parents to wake up, and then we all went off in search of play sand for my sandbox and stuff. Alas, it's too early in the year.

Other than all that, I was crappy and kinda rude to Mommy again today. Hopefully tomorrow will be better - I know Mommy has cool Easter activities planned for me!

1220 Feet High

[As transcribed by Daddy]

Eric and Elizabeth and Lola and Olivia were supposed to come over this weekend, but they got sick, so... we just went ahead with our weekend plans anyway, and had a great time! We all got up early (Mommy and I practically had to drag Daddy out of bed) and drove downtown. Next, we went to the CN Tower! It was really cool - the view from the tower was amazing (all the cars looked like little toys!) and the glass floor was scary at first, but as soon as I saw a nice lady lying down on it, I found myself lying next to her. Cinnamon Bunny, who I carried with me, was pretty nervous.

After the long elevator ride back down, we walked around downtown until we found a restaurant that was open on Good Friday - the Queen Mother, one of our faves. We ate a ridiculous amount of food.

After a quick stop at Cherry Beach on the way home, we recharged a bit (Daddy had a nap on the couch) at home. We went to run some errands - I snoozed in the car, and nothing was open anyway, so... it didn't matter.

...without the green part

[As transcribed by Daddy]

For the second day in a row, I was up at a pretty ungodly hour and harassed my poor parents as they tried to sleep. I think it must've had quite the effect on my disposition today, because boy oh boy, was I ever cranky.

Actually, for the better part of the day, I was okay - Mommy made me a new dress and had me try it on (I exclaimed "I look just like Anne of Green Gables, just without the Green part"), and managed to perform six "Bum-Drop Stand-Ups" in a row on Mommy's bed.

After a few dames of hide and seek with Mommy, I started getting a little bit clumsy (I stubbed my toe, hit my head, and suffered several other minor annoyance-heavy injuries) and got pretty difficult. Mommy send me to my room after a tantrum, after which I told her that I'd "Probably love her again tomorrow."

But, I loved her immediately after she hugged me to sleep a little early tonight. No sign of Daddy (working late) for the third day in a row.

Cheese... Nuts!

[As transcribed by Daddy]

Mommy and I were up early to attend my dance class - you know, the one I was supposed to go to last week but the instructor forgot to show up. Anyway, the good news is that he DID show up today. The bad news is that I didn't have the best time - "horrible", I called it. There wasn't much dancing, the instructor didn't have snacks or any helpers, and he wouldn't listen to me and pay attention to me when he was reading a book to the whole group! I need attention! Mommy and I will give it another try next week before canceling.

In the afternoon, Mommy and I dyed some Easter Eggs... I only broke one in the process. We had a great time! Later on in the day, when I had a nice bath, I could be heard singing slightly inappropriate songs - but singing them hilariously incorrectly.

"When I say 'cheese', you say 'Nuts!'
Cheese... Nuts!
Cheese... Nuts!"

Medium Fun

[As transcribed by Daddy]

More snow today. Argh! Mommy and I had a fairly quiet morning, and then in the afternoon we took a nice walk over to the local toy store to check some things out. We came away with some books and a new game - while we were there, I broadcasted "MOMMY! I HAVE TO PEE!" throughout the store, which made everyone laugh. I played with the train set there a LOT.

After we walked home, Mommy helped me play with my own train set, but it didn't hold a candle to the one at the store. I told her that the one at the store is "Extra Fun", while mine is only "Medium Fun".

After Daddy came home from work, we had homemade sushi for dinner. For some reason, I was extremely concerned about getting my fare share of the crab.

The Nigel Marven Exhibit

[As transcribed by Daddy]

We woke up this morning to discover that we all must have somehow slept through the seasons of spring, summer, and autumn, and have arrived right back in the middle of winter. It was snowing out there! It was awful! Well... to everyone else it was awful. I was pretty happy and excited about it, actually.

Mommy braved the freezing, billo wing sleet and took me to playschool. When I got out, all I had to say was that we did the hokey pokey, and that we shook our sillies out. I had a good time. After we got home, we had a nice, quiet day - I put together yet another 'dinosaur exhibit' with my toys, this one featuring a miniature Nigel Marven.

When Daddy got home, we had a lovely dinner and then headed out to do some grocery shopping... Daddy and I took a detour to pick up some odds and ends, during which I laid some funny one liners - "My favourite thing is Dinosaurs, Mommy's favourite thing is making crafts, and Daddy's favourite thing is BLACK."

I visited Gammy on the way home, and danced along to one of her TV shows.

Lovely weather today. Mommy and Daddy and I had a quiet morning full of housework, yardwork, and work-work (and there was some cartoon watching in there, too).

After lunch (I threw a fit because I couldn't have any eggs with sour cream in them... allergies), Mommy and Daddy and Basl and I took a long drive up to Eldred King Woodlands for a hike - and what an awesome site it turned out to be! We'll have to go back when the weather's better... but I gad a great time, running and having picnics and stuff. I saw a man with a cowboy hat on a horse (= the first cowboy I've ever met!) and exclusively talked with Daddy in an English accent. Let me tell you - my 'English accent' is adorable.

The other day I saw an art print of Mommy's on the mantle - it's a picture of a crow with the word 'CROW' written on it. I read it, and walked up to Mommy and told her about it, pronouncing it "CRO-WUH'. My folks were stunned. Also, while watching the movie yesterday, I saw a sign over the door and asked Daddy what "EX-IT" means.

Monsters Vs. Aliens Vs. Clover

[As transcribed by Daddy]

Mommy and I had a nice morning while Daddy slept in until about noon, recovering from all of the work he's been doing over the past few weeks. Once he was up, though, we all had a lovely salad for lunch, and then we started tidying up the apartment for tonight's visitors.

Daddy took me out on a date in the mid-afternoon... we went down to the local 3-D theatre to catch 'Monsters Versus Aliens!' I was really excited - only it turned out we got there kinda late, as the place was brimming with other noisy kids and Daddy and I had to sit in the front row with our big bag of popcorn.

The combination of having to sit right up front plus all the crazy in-your-face 3D action plus the somewhat frightening subject matter plus the RIDICULOUSLY BOOMING SOUND made me wanna go home midway through the flick (as soon as my popcorn was done). Daddy obliged. Once I got home, I happily watched my sweet, non-scary Rudolph the Red-Noised Reindeer DVD.

Nick and Alice Panagopoulos arrived for their annual visit - Gammy and Grabnpa's place is under construction, so... we ate at our place! Delicious!

The Pooping Fishing Rod

[As transcribed by Daddy]

Mommy and I were really revved up and eager to go outside and enjoy the wonderful April weather... but alas, the weather wasn't wonderful - it was terrible and rainy and gray. Still, we decided we'd brave the weather and headed out for a quick trip to the drug store. We somehow managed to actually GET there, but the walk home was just awful. My umbrella was getting blown this way and that by the heavy wind, which really upset me - so... try to imagine Mommy walking down the street with two umbrellas and three grocery bags in one hand, and ME curled up, crying & carried under her other arm. She was not happy.

I watched a dinosaur DVD, drew some pictures, and played some video games while Mommy recovered. I couldn't wait for Daddy to get home - once he did, I was all over him, literally and figuratively. Not only did I give him foot and head and throat (?) massages, but I helped him with some of his work, and built him a fishing rod out of tinkertoys so that we could go fishing.

Did I mention that the fishing rod I invented poops? It does.

Imaginary Fish / Real Fish

[As transcribed by Daddy]

We had some beautiful weather today - as soon as we were breakfasted and ready, Mommy and I were outside playing. She raked the leaves, and I pretended to go fishing - I must have caught fifty imaginary fish of varying sizes and shapes. As soon as that was over, Mommy went inside and made me some real fish for lunch!

We were back outside again soon afterwards... i did a lot of playing and kinda helped Mommy with some of the yardwork. Recent television star Nandy Panda joined me and even climbed some trees. Once we had all had enough (which I don't think was a level either of us really reached) we came inside and played some board games.

Mommy made me a lovely dinner, which the two of us shared. Daddy was trapped at the office AGAIN in some sort of semi-vegetative / half-zombie state... but apparently I didn't miss him enough to mention him once before going to bed.

...are you ready to rock?

[As transcribed by Daddy]

Mommy and I had to get up early to go to my dance class, which means we were up an hour before Daddy. Mommy asked me to wake him up so that he wouldn't be late for work - so I walked into his bedroom, clapping loudly, grabbed his belt from the laundry hamper, and proceeded to wrap it around his neck in an attempt to yank him out of bed (or choke him awake). It worked!

Sadly, my dance class was canceled. Apparently the instructor was confused about the start date, so me and a bunch of other little girls all sat around for half an hour waiting. I was pretty disappointed, and moped home in the rain.

After Daddy came home, he and I played a bit, and then we played Rock Band... he's so taken with my vocal take on Cheap Trick's "Hello There" that he had me record it so that we can post in on the blog at a later date!

Ask Me About Dinosaurs!

[As transcribed by Daddy]

Mommy and I took a good chunk out of the day and cleaned the heck out of my room. In order to stash my Tinkertoys and stuff under my bed, she raised the mattress - so now I have an even taller, bigger bed! It's like it's brand new!

Daddy bought me an awesome awesome awesome new shirt, which I was pretty happy to wear, and even happier to smear with pasta sauce. I watched a little bit of television, played with my toys, and helped Mommy set up a little herb garden in her bedroom.

After Daddy came home from work tonight, we listened to music, danced, played rock band, had a lovely wheat-free dinner, and then he read the book to me that I asked him to read the minute he first woke up this morning (neither of us forgot).

I have my first dance class tomorrow! I'm so excited!
