The Return of Cool Uncle Gareth

Sandbox by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Mommy & Daddy on April 12th]

Today started out like any other Friday - go to school, come home for lunch, go back to school, come home again. Then in the afternoon, something unexpected happened. Uncle Gareth came over!! He surprised Mommy and I. She had known and forgotten he was coming; I just didn't know. He's here to do his taxes, whatever those are.

He played with me for a bit, and almost made up for the fact that I missed swimming because Mommy is still feeling sick.

Daddy took a case of Girl Guide cookies to work today to see if any of his co-workers would like to buy some. They did like to- they bought all of them! Thanks Dad's co-workers!

Mommy's Parasite

Sunny Afternoon by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Mommy & Daddy on April 12th]

Mommy likes Thursdays because I stay at school all day (it's Folkfest after lunch), and its the day that she can get errands and things done. But I don't think she did anything today. She's not been feeling that great since Daddy got home; she says he brought her a parasite along with the other presents. I hope she's feeling better soon; she's a bit of a drag.

On the plus side, I got to start Avatar again today! I kinda want to watch it with Daddy because he hasn't seen it, but he gets home so late and I don't want to wait until then.

Riding a Donkey

Evan & The Sun Pyramid by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Mommy & Daddy on April 12th]

I had really wanted to take the day off from school today and hang out with Daddy, but he had to go to work, so I went to school - again. Today we finished our fantasy playground - I only got to make a rock climber and ?. I didn't get to make all of the super awesome things I wanted to, but I'm still pretty happy with what I did get finished. Mommy said we can make something at home out of a 3D shape, too.

I did have Selwyn Singers today. Have I mentioned that I really like Selwyn Singers? My favourite song is about riding a donkey! Mom doesn't know that one, either. Well, she didn't, but she does now because I sing it all the time. I played for a bit after school, but the weather is kinda cold now, so Mommy didn't want to stay too long. It sure is nice to have Daddy back in the evenings.

No Cavities

Daphne by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Mommy & Daddy on April 12th]

I had really wanted to take the day off from school today and hang out with Daddy, but he had to go to work, so I went to school. It was a fine day, but Selwyn Singers got pushed back until tomorrow, so I came home for lunch.

After school, I had to miss band because I had a dentist appointment. I was really worried about having another cavity. But I'm A-ok! I got two stickers for doing such a good job brushing! Dr. Hilton says I have a couple of teeth that are ever so slightly loose, and he also told Mommy to start saving up for orthodontics (whatever those are) because my jaws aren't lined up properly and my new teeth are growing away from each other! I'm a little worried about what that all means, but not too worried because NO CAVITIES!!! Yay!

Mommy let me get a treat from a vending machine. Its a Domo squishy ball thingy - I call it my Momo Domo ball after Momo from Avatar. After we got home from the dentist, Mommy and I settled in to finish Avatar. The series finale is as long as a movie, and it was pretty great; the good guys won!

Welcome to the world, Daphne Ottney (see photo above)! Big brother Emmett must be so proud!

Welcome Home, Daddy!

Sokka by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Mommy]

Mondays are my favourite day of the week. I get to go back to school, I go to swimming (well, not anymore), and I go to Sparks. This Monday is especially awesome because my daddy is coming home!! I have really missed him.

Today I wanted to start the day with my new favourite thing - Avatar! And can you believe it? Mommy said ok! She must like that show, too. We're sad because its almost over, but I'm happy because when its done, we can start all over again! Check out the drawing I made of Sokka - he is my favourite person character in Avatar.

In school, we have been learning about 3 dimensional shapes, and today we started making a fantasy playground using all of our knowledge of said shapes! I'm making a rock climber with my friend Adon out of a cookie box. And then I want to make a train, and a balloon ride, and a roller coaster and bumper cars, and giant swings, and game booths, and an ice cream stand, and… well you get the idea.

There was a bake sale at morning and afternoon recess today, and Mommy let me bring some of my money to buy something. I bought a candy stick thing in the morning, and I shared it with my friend Helena. In the afternoon, I couldn't find my money so I didn't buy anything. I found my money after school. It was in my pocket! Mommy let me stop at the corner to buy something with it. I bought Starburst, but Mommy would only let me eat one!! After I bought them with my own money!!

At Sparks, we got cookies to sell, and we made our own cookies out of play dough. It was a lot of fun. I might have been a little difficult and out of control, so I don't know that Mommy had as much fun as I did.

When I got home, Daddy was back!! I was so happy to see him; I gave him a really big hug... And then I asked for my present. It was a cool Luchador mask like the Mexican wrestlers wear. I can't wait to take it to school to show my class. He also brought home some neat artwork, an Aztec calendar, and a Día de los Muertos painted skull. All of those things were great, but I was most happy just to have Daddy home.

Some Kind of Chip Cookies

Clover with Grandpa by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Mommy]

Only 1 more sleep 'til Daddy is home! I'm pretty excited to see him and the present he said he got for me. Mommy and I had waffles for breakfast and watched some more Avatar. I REALLY like that show. I started making pictures of all of the characters, and I'm going to put on an Avatar puppet play for Daddy so he know what he missed out on.

Mommy and I had planned on making peanut butter - potato chip cookies, but then Grandpa invited me out for a walk. We went to the park, and saw all kinds of neat stuff. I must've worked up an appetite because when I got home, I ate all of the potato chips. So… we made peanut butter - chocolate chip cookies instead.

Mommy spent most of the day making some fancy type tomato sauce - it was yummy, but I don't know if it was "whole day of cooking" yummy. We had it with some gluten free penne for dinner and watched - yep, you guessed it! - more Avatar.

Happy Birthday, Molly!

Preppy Sweater by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Mommy]

Brrr, it's cold today! I think it feels like winter again. We hibernated in the morning with oatmeal and Avatar. And since I didn't talk to Daddy last night, we called him this morning.

Mommy and I decided to give Grandpa a break, and we took the bus to piano class. My teacher said I did very well and to keep practicing. On the way home, we stopped by the toy store to buy a birthday present for my friend Molly. We also checked out the new neighborhood bookstore. I got a cool book about sharks.

Once home, we had time to watch one episode of Avatar before Mom made dinner, and I made Molly a card. After dinner I changed for the party and Grandpa gave me ride over. The party was at a gymnastics school. It was so much fun! We got funny nicknames ( I was Stinky Toes!), and played on a trampoline. Then we had cupcakes and did a craft.

When I got home, I was ready for bed, but Mom insisted that I wash my stinky toes first, so after a lengthy shower, I collapsed into bed, exhausted from another fun and busy day.

Spring Fun

Twig Hut by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Mommy]

It was raining today, and cooler, but still nice. It felt like spring arrived at last after a week or so of summer. I was kind of excited that it was raining because that means an indoor recess. I have some school work that I'm really into, and I was looking forward to extra time with it. But Mrs. Bradley wanted to play Heads Up 7-Up instead. Its one of my favourite games, so I was ok with that.

It had stopped raining by the end of the day, so I played for a little while with Claire and Connor. We continued working on the giant hole we dug in the sandbox yesterday. I couldn't stay that long, though, because I had a make-up piano lesson to get to. It went well; I had a different teacher. She was nice and she let me choose two(!) stickers and put them wherever I wanted. Of course, one of them went on my face!

On the way home, we stopped and picked up a pizza. After dinner, we took a nice walk to my friend Veronica's for a playdate! I've been waiting sooo long for this playdate. It did not disappoint. Grandpa drove Mommy to pick me up since it was after my bedtime when the playdate was over. I went to bed tired and happy.

March Popsicles

Writing by the Bridge by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Mommy]

Today was another beautiful day. I wore shorts again. Whoever heard of shorts in March? In Canada? Its been awesome, but Mommy says its about to change.

School was fun. I stayed for lunch, and Folkfest. Have I mentioned how much fun dancing is? In the afternoon, we were skipping ropes in gym again. I'm getting so good at it. After school, Mom said I could stay at the playground as long as I wanted since it was such a nice day. Claire, Connor, Dano, and some kid I don't know dug a HUGE hole in the sandbox. Then I got hungry and wanted to go home. On the way home, we stopped for a popsicle!! Mom says summer only comes in March... well never, until now... so she thinks ice cream and popsicles are in order.

It was a normal evening of dinner and Avatar.

Jump Roping

Glass face by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Mommy]

Today, we started learning about money at school. We made charts! And charts are so fun.

Claire came over for lunch today, and it was such a nice day, we got to eat our lunch outside. When we were finished eating, we played with my jump ropes, and then we skipped rope all the way back to school. Mom let us keep the jump ropes so we could play with them some more at recess.

After school, I played jump ropes with Emilia, and then Mommy and I walked over to Home Depot. I was surprised to find out that Home Depot is a lot closer to my school than I thought. Grandpa picked us up because we couldn't carry 6 bags of peat moss home. The car almost couldn't either! Thanks Grandpa! At home, I got bored of yard work (Mommy wouldn't let me help anyway) so I drew some animal pictures with the help of my library book. Then I ate some cheese. We had strawberry pancakes for dinner, which is kinda awesome, and watched some more Avatar.

When I talked to Daddy, I mostly just freaked out because I didn't and then did want to talk to Lion, the little boy in Daddy's commercial. Sorry Daddy. I still miss you.

Earthquake!!!

3 in a door by Clover_1[As transcribed by Mommy]

So today is Tuesday, my long day at school. We got new sheets for our books that we're making about ourselves this morning. I got to write about school and my hobbies. My favourite hobby is drawing. I stayed for lunch ,then practiced with the Selwyn Singers. I really like the songs we are learning- they're mostly about Canada and my mom doesn't know any of them.

In the afternoon, I got a cool book about drawing animals from the library, and then I had a super fun time skipping and jumping rope in gym. After school, I had band, which is always a good time.

When Mommy picked me up, she had some pretty disturbing news: Daddy was in an earthquake!! I was super worried for about 2 seconds. Then she told me he was fine, and I wanted to go to the playground. Maya from Sparks showed up at the playground, and she let me try to ride her bike. I'm still not really getting the hang of it, but I will. I conquered the monkey bars, so I can definitely handle a bicycle.

Mommy let us get ice cream on the way home. It was yummy. Max and Jena were over when we got home so I played with them for a while. And I freaked out over a bee because I forgot I had stopped being afraid of bees. Then Mommy reminded me, and I was at peace with the bees again. Mommy and I finished season 1 of Avatar while we ate dinner. I really like that show!

When I talked to Daddy, I made sure to ask if any dishes or buildings were broken in the earthquake. He assured me that everything was fine.

Happy Monday!

Pretend Grumpy by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Mommy]

I was back to school today. Despite being sick for most of it, I feel like I had a great March break. I am VERY happy to be back at school, though. I wrote four pages about my time away. Even though I didn't do that much on March break, I had a a lot to say about it.

Recess was super awesome today because the weather is so nice. It feels like summer instead of the last day of winter. Mommy let me take my jacket off at lunch, so I got to run around in short sleeves for the rest of the school day. After school I stayed at the playground until Mommy noticed I was looking a bit pink, so then we went home for a big drink and a snack.

Then it was pretty much time to leave for Sparks. We did something super fun in Sparks - we went for a walk around the community. Before we left, we all got emergency whistles and band aids, just in case someone got lost in a bush. On our walk, we saw the baseball field, playground, tennis courts, some cool solar panels, and found an awesome little parkette where we had a snack picnic. Then we played a fun game of duck duck goose and ran around blowing our emergency whistles, before heading back to the school. Afterwards, Mommy and I had a late dinner, watched some Avatar, and called Daddy before bed.

Sunday Distractions

Bunny in a Swing by Clover_1[As transcribed by Mommy]

This morning I missed Daddy a whole lot so I bounced around from Gammy to Grandpa to Mommy to keep me distracted. Gammy played Go Fish and Crazy Eights with me. It was crazy fun!

Mommy and I started watching a new (to us) show called Avatar. It might be my new favourite.

After lunch, Mommy and I took Dennis for a nice walk. We saw lots of signs of spring: warm weather, flowers, robins, and some brand new baby leaves. When we got home, I played outside while Mommy did some raking. I made a swing for Cinnamon Bunny, and he loved it!! He also loved flying/falling off of the deck into the back yard. Then Mommy called Nana, so I talked to her about the pros and cons of sending chocolate in the mail.

After that we went car shopping with Grandpa. I was really excited about this as I thought it was going to be fun. It was not. So. Boring.

We watched some more Avatar with dinner.

At bedtime we finished an Ivy and Bean book, and I got to call Daddy and tell him all about my day. I miss him an awful lot. So does Mommy.

Adios Padre

Sunglasses Twins (Title by Clover) by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Mommy]

Many hours before I woke, Daddy set off for parts Mexico City. He came in to say good bye and have a snuggle, but I didn't notice. Daddy only made it as far as the airport before he realized he'd forgotten his passport. Fortunately, Grandpa wasn't doing anything at 5:30 this morning, so he drove the forgotten passport to Daddy. Thank you, Grandpa!
When I eventually did wake up, it was to find Mommy in my bed. Apparently, she hadn't slept well and my bed was the most comfortable place in the house. She slept in my bed for a bit while I watched Finding Stuff Out on the computer.
Later in the afternoon, Grandpa ( who apparently still had nothing to do) drove Mommy and I to piano lessons. Thanks again, Grandpa! I missed piano class last week, so I was a little behind, but I did my best, and my teacher was impressed with my hard work.

At dinner time, we had some not very interesting chicken burgers and watched The Pink Panther. That panther is waaaaay better than boring old chicken burgers.

Good night Daddy! I love you and I miss you.

Joke of the day: Why did the banana go to the doctor?
Because it wasn't peeling well!!!!

Mississauga Mall

Sunglasses by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Daddy]

Today is our last day with Daddy before he heads off for Mexico. Luckily, he was able to take the day off from work as a vacation day in order to spend it with us. Unluckily, he still had to drive out to Mississauga to make a presentation to a client.

First, he dropped Mommy and I off at the Square One mall. The two of us walked around and did some shopping for odds and ends... it got a little overwhelming, so we went over to the bookstore and waited for Daddy to come and get us after his meeting was over.

We all went to a nice restaurant for lunch, and then did more shopping at the grocery store and mall, before heading back home in brutal rush hour weekend traffic. As soon as we got back, we let Dennis out of his box and we all walked over to the park, so that I could play in the playground! The weather is unseasonably warm... we all could have been wearing shorts, practically.

I'll miss Daddy while he's gone on his shoot, but not as much as he's going to miss me, that's for sure.

A Sneeze Trifle

Under The Bridge 2 by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Daddy]

Signs that my health is improving are abundant. No fever today, plus I had more energy than was required so simply sit in the living room chair, wrapped in a blanket, shivering. Alas, I still wasn't good enough to go to the museum. I tried to convince Mommy that I was, but no use.

She did take me out to the local restaurant for lunch, so that was something at least. Seeing as how we have that huge delicious trifle at home, we were all set to eat more of it... until I coughed directly into it pretty hard, ruining it for everyone. I felt pretty bad about that.

The weather is still awesome and nice, which makes being quarantined all the worse. After Daddy came home from work, he and I spent some quality time together, since he's off to Mexico the day after tomorrow.

Comfort Shows

Compass by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Daddy on March 16th]

Yesterday. Mommy tried to make a black forest birthday cake to celebrate her big day, but it didn't really work... it ended up collapsing and turning into muck. No problem - today she turned it into a delicious birthday custard-free trifle.

I was still pretty sick today, and once again my hopes of going to the museum were completely dashed. Instead, I stayed home sick and along with Dennis, did my best to get on Mommy's nerves as much as possible.

I got out of the house in the late afternoon for a brief walk around the block and stuff. Other than that, I watched 'comfort shows' on Netflix... you know how some people eat 'comfort foods'? I watch 'Comfort shows' on television. Little Bear is a good example.

No ROM

Stratford Cannon by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Daddy on March 16th]

Not that I've been diagnosed with having two ear infections and am taking loads and loads of banana-flavoured antibiotics, I made sure I had the day really well planned-out. I let everyone know that I really wanted to travel to the Royal Ontario Museum.

Unfortunately, my ear infection totally let me down, and my fever kept on returning it as soon as I'd think it was gone. Mommy and I never got around to going to the museum. So far, this March break is disappointing.

Jen and Lea came over after dinner to help Mommy plan for Sparks. Dennis was so excited to see them at our place... as was I!

Infectious Birthday

Along the Avon by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Daddy on March 16th]

Ugh, I was so sick all day long today. I didn't sleep so well, and most likely had some weird fever dreams. I was pretty groggy at breakfast, and never got out of it.

Um... incidentally, it's Mommy's birthday today! Yaaay! Happy birthday, Mommy. She got presents and stuff from everyone, so that was pretty cool. We were gonna go out for lunch and dinner, but those plans had to be kiboshed due to my illness. I just sat in the living room chair, wrapped up in a blanket.

After Daddy came home from work (with a cool 'get well soon' present for me) he drove Mommy and I over to a clinic on the Danforth. We waited in the waiting room for a long time, and eventually saw a pretty good doctor, who told me that I had two ear infections! No wonder I was feeling so sick.

Pushing it in Stratford

Under the Bridge by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Daddy on March 16th]

What a wonderful day! The weather was nice, the sun was out, and the ground was squishy. To resurrect an old tradition on Mommy's birthday, we all took a drive out to lovely Stratford Ontario.

The drive didn't take as long as we remembered it (it's been a few years)... once we got there we had a lovely lunch, checked out some toy stores and a chocolate shop, and had a really nice walk through the Shakespearean gardens!

I hit a wall pretty quickly, though, and my fever returned with a vengeance. Maybe we pushed things too hard today. We had a quiet drive home, and I took it as easy as I could for the rest of the day. Daddy and I put on a big show of giving Mommy her birthday present - a cake decorating course! We ...think she liked it.

March Break Fever

Athabasca Glacier by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Daddy on March 14th]

Ugh. This morning I woke up with a pretty brutal fever. I mean, it wasn't exceptionally high or anything, but it was brutal in that it completely incapacitated me for the better part of the whole day. I had a few breaks here and there where I felt okay, but for the most part I just sat in the living room chair, wrapped in a blanket, totally sad and miserable. Not a great start to the March break.

I did find some time to plan out Mommy's birthday presents and celebrations with Daddy today. He was really hoping to take me out shopping for her birthday, but due to my illness, we thought it best that I stay wrapped up at home. I barely ate anything, either. If things don't get better soon, I'll have to make a trip to see the doctor.

Wacky Hair Day

Wacky Hair by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Daddy on March 14th]

Well, after taking a year off, my school decided to bring back its ancient tradition of the annual 'Wacky Hair Day Dance-A-Thon'. To prepare, Mommy and I spent the morning getting my hair all wackied up. I drew a picture of how I wanted my hair to look, and Mommy made it happen!

At school I joined all of the other kids who had their moms help them with their hair and took part in a big dance-a-thon. Obviously, I had a blast, and danced and danced and danced! My favourite part, though, was getting to see my principal wearing a funny blonde wig.

Once I got home, I made sure that both Grandpa and Mommy took plenty of photos of my hair for posterity's sake. Daddy didn't get home from work until after I had gone to bed, so he's only got the photos as evidence.

Video on Demand

Snow Hike 3 by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Daddy on March 14th]

Mommy's back has been bad over the past few days... she had something of a tough time walking me to school. Once I was there, she got herself into the chiropractor's office. And now, she's totally fine!

Today at lunch, we had folk fest practice again. I like it a lot - it's pretty simple dancing, but considering that there's so many of us, it's a real blast.

I watched The Fantastic Mister Fox on Netflix when I got home, even though we have it on Blu-Ray. For some reason, the appeal of watching low-res video-on-demand was too exciting to pass up.

Infections and Surgeries

Christmas Card for Nana by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Daddy on March 14th]

Traditionally, my friend Claire comes over lunch on Wednesdays. Unfortunately, she's feeling a little bit sick, so it was just Mommy and Dennis and I for lunch. Claire's Mommy has some sort of lung infection, so we're all really hoping that Claire doesn't also have a lung infection.

Not much was happening today, so Mommy decided she'd download the free trial of Netflix to the PS3. I watched a few kid's shows and stuff... but overall Mommy and Daddy aren't very satisfied with the selection available.

Max & Jenna came over after school, and we all played in my room and stuff, Max goes in for eye surgery tomorrow, so everyone's a little nervous.

Veronica > Daddy

Aboard the Truck by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Daddy on March 14th]

Another cold, cold, cold day. I wonder why we're getting these so late in the winter... is it because it's been so unseasonably warm for the past few months? Is this nature's cruel, cruel revenge?

I had singing class at lunch today, which was pretty nice. We learned to sing a song about Canada, which I really like - but I've already forgotten about it and can't write any words or even the title here.

After school I had band practice, which was a lot of fun. My friend Veronica plays bass guitar in the band - I mentioned to her that my Daddy also plays the bass, which she thought was cool. Once I got home, Mommy asked me who was better, my friend Veronica or Daddy... I told her that I think Veronica is better.

Piggybanks in the Cold

Gifted by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Daddy on March 14th]

My goodness, was it ever cold outside today. We all knew as soon as we got out of bed that it would continue to be a cold one, as the freezing outside air ended up forcing us to do a lot of snuggling. We had to keep warm!

Even though it was cold, nothing could deter me from attending my penultimate swimming class, especially since last week's installment didn't quite happen.

After swimming class, it was time for Sparks. Alas, Jen has some sort of lung infection, so Mommy and Lea ran it themselves. We made piggybanks, which were really cool.

Fish & Chips

Snow Hike 2 by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Daddy on March 10th]

I really wanted to go out for lunch today, so Mommy sat me down and had me decide what I wanted. Now, I've watched Daddy eat Fish & Chips several times, but haven't been able to partake due to my wheat allergy. So... we looked up a Fish & Chips place that serves gluten-free food, and found an awesome one downtown!

We drove over and ate a whole lot of food. When I was said and done, I had to admit that Fish & Chips are a bit of a letdown, but I still liked them. As soon as we were finished, we walked around and bought some odds and ends. We even drove out to Scarborough for a few errands.

Anyway, once we got home, Daddy and I played snowboarding video games and read books before bed.

Showbiz Daddy

Athabasca Pondwalk by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Daddy on March 7th]

Even though today was Saturday, it sort of felt like a regular weekday. Daddy was up at a normal hour, because he had to go to a big casting session downtown for work (he's shooting a commercial in Mexico in a week or two and needs to hire actors).

He got back from his casting session just in time to grab a bite to eat and then drive me over to my piano lesson. As usual, it went really well! My teacher at the Conservatory has nothing but really awesome things to say about me.

At the end of the day, Daddy had to leave again - this time he had band practice with his friends. While he and his bass guitar were out for the evening, Mommy and I had a nice dinner together and played Strawberry Shortcake in my room.

Teaching Molly

Baby Teeth by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Daddy on March 7th]

Today was kinda quiet - we didn't have any big chores or tasks or anything planned, so Mommy told me that I could pretty much invite anyone over for a playdate that I wanted to invite. My first instinct was to invite my friend Anton over, but he was kinda busy, so I instead suggested to invite my friend Molly over, since I hardly ever have her over.

The two of us had a jolly old time playing in my room and watching television and stuff... but Molly took a keen interest in my piano. Since I'm such a pro, I thought I'd be really nice and teach her how to play it. I sat her down, showed her how to play "Old MacDonald", and we were off!

Once Daddy came home from work, he asked me about my day (as he usually does) and what I did, and I told him that my major accomplishment was that I taught Molly how to play the piano. Not too shabby for ten minutes' worth of instruction.

Mommy Vam Piur

Sunny Portrait by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Daddy on March 7th]

Mommy's headache continued today, which may explain something of a mystery. My folks were cleaning up in my room when they discovered a drawing of mine, and when they asked me about it, I was unable (or unwilling?) to explain why I drew it.

It's a drawing of my Mommy looking menacing with pointy teeth and scary fingernails. Surrounding her are dead insects and flowers - which are in the process of wilting. Written next to this hilarious drawing is the phrase "I have the wrst Mommy in the wrld BAD Mommy vam piur GRRRRRRR". It is honestly one of the most adorably funny things I've ever drawn, according to my folks.

Was I mad at Mommy when I drew it? I ain't sayin'. I told my folks I was just goofing off. Daddy thought it was so sweet - especially the drawing of Mommy - that he took it to work!

Headache and Steak

Tooth Presentation by Clover_1
[As transcribed by Daddy on March 6th]

Unfortunately, Mommy had a pretty awful headache today. It's been a while since she had one of those, so I guess the fact that it was something of a doozy really made sense. As usual, while Mommy suffered, I was really cool about it and basically stayed out of her way.

The fact that Claire wasn't able to come over for lunch (she and her Mommy are both sick) kinda made things a bit easier for Mommy and her headache.

My the time dinner rolled around, Mommy wasn't really in any condition to slave over a hot stove, so we waited for Daddy to come home from work and then I asked if we could go out for dinner. We hit up the local watering hole and I ordered a massive steak. I ate every last bite. It was delicious!

I'm a happy kid living with my parents and our dog in Toronto. I'm goofy, sweet, smart, extremely chatty, and pretty much the cutest kid on the face of the Earth!
